The 100% dimethylpolysiloxane phase is one of the most widely used non-polar stationary phases in gas chromatography. Its low polarity means that compound separation is primarily determined by volatility and boiling points.
The phase provides predictable retention and can be used for a wide range of non-polar and weakly polar compounds. It is a versatile solution for the analysis of hydrocarbons, petroleum products, solvents, essential oils, pesticides, PCBs, sulfur compounds, and other organic substances.
ZB-1 Series
ZB-1
A universal 100% dimethylpolysiloxane phase for routine analysis of non-polar compounds and boiling-point-based separations. Provides excellent resolving power for critical pairs in complex petrochemical samples and is suitable for sample fingerprinting and routine quality control analyses.
ZB-1PLUS
An enhanced version with low stationary-phase bleed and high inertness, providing good peak shape. Especially well suited for high-sensitivity GC-MS analysis and the analysis of active compounds.
ZB-1HT Inferno™
A high-temperature version of the phase with temperature stability up to 430 °C for the analysis of non-polar, high-boiling compounds. Suitable for the analysis of diesel fuel, petroleum products, waxes, motor oils, polymers, and plastics, as well as contaminants, carry-over compounds, and high-temperature column bakeouts.
ZB-1XT SimDist
A specialized column for determining the boiling-point distribution of petroleum products and performing simulated distillation. Suitable for the analysis of crude oil, gasoline fractions, petroleum distillates, and petroleum fractions, including applications according to ASTM D2887, D2887X, D3710, D6352, and D7169.
ZB-DHA-PONA
A specialized column offering excellent resolving power for critical pairs in complex petrochemical samples. Designed for DHA, PONA, PIONA, and PIANO analyses, as well as ASTM D5134, D5441, D5501, D6729, D6730, and D6733 methods.
