Phenogel is a range of Phenomenex columns for non-aqueous gel permeation chromatography (GPC/SEC), designed for high-performance analysis of polymers, oligomers, and other macromolecules based on molecular weight.
Phenogel columns are based on a highly cross-linked styrene-divinylbenzene (SDVB) packing material. Precise control of pore size, pore size distribution, total pore volume, particle size, and degree of cross-linking during manufacturing provides high resolution, mechanical and chemical stability, and excellent column-to-column reproducibility.

- High temperature stability — stable up to 140 °C, enabling analysis of polymers with limited solubility and the use of viscous solvents such as DMF and DMSO.
- High efficiency — for 300 × 7.8 mm columns, minimum efficiency is 45,000 plates/m for 5 µm particles and 35,000 plates/m for 10 µm particles.
