Axia is a range of pre-packed preparative columns designed for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC). Featuring patented hydraulic piston compression technology, Axia columns provide a uniform sorbent bed, high separation efficiency, and consistent column performance over extended use.
Unlike conventional packing methods, Axia technology uses controlled compression of the sorbent followed by piston locking. This prevents bed relaxation, reduces the risk of void formation and sorbent particle damage, and improves column-to-column reproducibility.
